Bělorusko

* Belarus will replace six injured players including NHLers Andrei Kostitsyn and Mikhail Grabovsky. The others are Andrei Antonov, Andrei Bashko, Vadim Sushko and Alexander Syrei.
* Following players have been added: Sergei Kolosov, Andrei Karev, Alexander Makritsky, Alexander Ryadinsky, Konstantin Zakharov, Dmitri Meleshko.


Německo

* The German Ice Hockey Association announced on January 22 that they will replace Philip Gogulla by forward Jochen Hecht (Buffalo Sabres, NHL) on the 23-man roster.
* The German Ice Hockey Association announced further changes on February 14. Defenceman Jason Holland will be replaced by Sven Butenschön and forward Alexander Barta by Kai Hospelt.

Norsko

Norway replaced injured forward Morten Ask by Jonas Andersen of Sparta Sarpsborg.

Slovensko

Slovakia announced that Richard Lintner will miss the Olympics due to injury and will be replaced by defenceman Ivan Baranka (Spartak Moscow, RUS).

Gáboríka zranil na tréninku New York Rangers vlastní brankář Henrik Lundqvist, který mu při zákroku bruslí ošklivě pořezal nohu. "Jedná se o hlubokou ránu, v podstatě to jde až do svalu," přiblížil lékař slovenského týmu Dalimír Jančovič. Gáborík zatím ani netrénuje. Rána nad kolenem, kterou "zdobí" 21 stehů, je dost bolestivá, navíc je zatím příliš čerstvá a potřebuje se hojit. "Děláme, co se dá, ale léčba se nedá moc urychlit. Hlavní je teď klid,Podobná smůla potkala také Šatana, jenž má řeznou ránu na dlani. Tedy také na hodně ošemetném místě. Už sice vyjel na led, ale nemohl se věnovat herním cvičením a v podstatě jen bruslil. "Udělám všechno pro to, abych nastoupil," prohlásil útočník. Ovšem realita je zřejmě někde jinde. "Existuje jen hodně malá šance, že by nastoupil," tvrdí totiž Jančovič.Nadějně naopak vypadá stav Hossy, který před pár dny dostal v NHL ránu do brady a utrpěl lehký otřes mozku. Vyhlášený střelec jako jediný z trojice marodů naplno trénoval, ačkoli s tím původně vůbec nepočítal.

Švédsko

The Swedish Olympic Committee announced on Feb. 14 one change to the preliminary roster. Forward Tomas Holmström will not be able to participate due to a knee injury and will be replaced by Johan Franzén.

Švýcarsko

* The Swiss Ice Hockey Association announced on February 2 that goalkeeper Martin Gerber will miss the Olympics due to neck injury and will be replaced by Ronnie Rüeger (Kloten Flyers). Also defenceman Roman Josi is injured, a replacement player has not been named yet.
* The Swiss will hold their training camp in Winnipeg with additional players: defencemen Philippe Furrer (SC Bern), John Gobbi (Geneva-Servette), Patrick von Gunten (Kloten Flyers), and forwards Romano Lemm (HC Lugano) and Paul Savary (Geneva-Servette).
* The Swiss Ice Hockey Association announced on February 11 that Kevin Romy will travel home due to rip injury. He will be replaced by Romano Lemm. Along with Romy, reserve players John Gobbi and Paul Savary travelled home. Reserve defencemen Philippe Furrer and Patrick von Gunten will remain with the team.
* The final 23-man roster was announced on February 14. Another player travelled home due to injury with defenceman Goran Bezina. Reserve players Philippe Furrer and Patrick von Gunten are both on the final roster.

USA

Mike Komisarek and Paul Martin will not participate in the Olympics due to injury and will be replaced by defencemen Tim Gleason (Carolina Hurricanes) and Ryan Whitney (Anaheim Ducks), USA Hockey announced on February 4.
