Milwaukee Brewers [Chase Anderson] @ Arizona Diamondbacks [Zack Greinke] / [ML] Milwaukee Brewers [Chase Anderson] / @2.25 SBOBET / 2u
Monday, May 21, 7:40 PM EDT , Miller Park

Anderson was scratched from a May 12 start at Colorado and placed on the DL with what he later believed was food poisoning, but was better by the next day. He should have no restrictions against his former team.

Greinke threw six innings of one-run baseball and received a no-decision on Tuesday against the Brewers. He struck out five and walked one. Greinke has returned to form recently and hasn’t allowed more than one earned run in a start since April 30.

Tuesday, May 22, 7:05 PM EDT , Wrigley Field

Chatwood threw 5 1/3 effective innings his last time out vs. Atlanta, allowing one earned run on four hits and two walks to go along with two K's. Chatwood faced the Indians on April 24, tossing six innings and giving up one run while fanning five.

Bauer had his best outing of the season in Detroit on May 16, throwing eight shutout innings, allowing four hits with 10 strikeouts and no walks. In three May starts, Bauer has a 2.89 ERA with 21 strikeouts in 18 2/3 innings.

Milwaukee Brewers [Jhoulys Chacin] @ Arizona Diamondbacks [Matt Koch] / Milwaukee Brewers [Jhoulys Chacin] [-1.5] / @2.44 Pinnacle / 1u
Tuesday, May 22, 7:40 PM EDT , Miller Park

The Brewers had won five straight Chacin starts before losing at Chase Field on May 15 despite his seven-inning effort, which matched Chase Anderson for the Brewers’ longest start this season. He has has a 2.58 ERA over his past seven starts.

Last time out, Koch had his first rough outing since replacing Taijuan Walker in the rotation. He allowed eight runs in just 4 1/3 innings. It was his second straight loss, though he deserved a better fate in the previous one against the Nationals.

Suter, the utility man of the staff, has settled into a regular schedule after several emergency-type outings, first a relief stint in place of an injured Wade Miley, then a start on short rest after Chase Anderson fell ill.

Godley's last win was April 27 against the Nats. He allowed three runs his last time out against the Mets, but only one was earned. Godley has scuffled with his command, walking four in two of his last three starts.

Wacha matched a season-high with eight strikeouts across six strong innings last time out, when he battled inclement weather to earn his fifth win. The righty (5-1, 3.0. hasn’t lost since the season’s opening week, a span of eight starts.

Junis will start the I-70 Series finale against the Cardinals. The right-hander logged 5 1/3 solid innings against a powerful Yankees lineup on Friday, allowing seven hits and two runs in picking up his fifth victory.

Arrieta struggled in wet conditions Friday in a loss to the Cardinals. After enduring a 95-minute rain delay to start the game, he was finished after a 37-pitch third inning. Arrieta allowed four runs against the Cardinals, but just two were earned.

After a couple weeks in Atlanta’s bullpen, Gohara will make his first start of the season and attempt to show why he is one of the game’s top pitching prospects. His fastball sits around 95 mph and he consistently commands his swing-and-miss slider.

Bailey gave up three runs on five hits before recording an out in his last start against the Cubs, and it made for a long night in an 8-1 loss. His velocity is there, but Bailey is not missing bats, and hard contact has often followed as a result.

Kuhl followed up two quality starts with a short, uneven outing against the Padres on Thursday, pitching two perfect frames before giving up four runs and exiting after 4 1/3 innings. He has a 3.24 ERA in three career starts against the Reds.

deGrom’s disjointed month -- an elbow injury, a skipped start and an abbreviated return to the rotation -- didn’t affect him last time out, when he matched his career high with 13 strikeouts. He has allowed one run in his last 26 1/3 innings.

Straily regained his old form in his last outing, tossing seven shutout innings in a win at Atlanta. He had thrown 13 total innings in his first three starts since coming off the disabled list. Straily has 14 strikeouts and 14 walks in 20 innings.

Archer’s solid May got back on track when he pitched 6 2/3 scoreless innings vs. the Angels on Thursday. It was a bit of redemption after giving up six runs in seven innings on May 12 vs. the O's. Archer is 2-12 in his career against the Red Sox.

Price is coming off his best game of the season, and maybe his top game in three seasons with the Red Sox, as he fired a complete-game, six-hitter against the O's. The lefty was one strike away from a shutout, but Manny Machado hit a two-run homer.

Maeda gets an extra day of rest for Wednesday night’s start against the Rockies and Kyle Freeland. He is coming off his best start of the year -- eight scoreless innings on two hits against Miami.

Freeland held the Giants to one run in 6 2/3 innings and achieved his fifth straight quality start. He has a 1.59 ERA over that stretch.

Another Rays pitcher who loves home cooking, Snell has a 1.07 ERA in four outings at Tropicana Field. He has given up two earned runs or fewer in seven of his past eight starts, including one vs. Boston on April 27 (two earned runs in 7 1/3 innings).

The sinkerballer was solid last time out, striking out nine and allowing three runs over six innings against the Rays. This will be Porcello's fourth start already this season against Tampa Bay. He is 2-0 with a 3.10 ERA in the first three.

You know, the world isn't run by the laws written on paper. It's run by people. Some according to laws, others not. It depends on each individual how his world will be, how he makes it. And you also need a whole lot of luck so that somebody else doesn't make your life hell. And it ain't as simple as they tell you in grade school. But it is good to have strong values and to maintain them: in marriage, in crime, in war - always and everywhere.

You know, I think it's important to keep a balance in things. Yeah, balance, that's the right word. Because the guy who wants too much risks losing absolutely everything. Of course, the guy who wants too little from life, might not get anything at all.

Bibens-Dirkx will come up from Triple-A Round Rock to make his season debut. He made eight starts at Triple-A, going 2-3 with a 3.72 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP. In 38 2/3 innings, he walked eight and struck out 32.

Duffy will look to get on track in the series opener against the Rangers. He allowed five runs in just four innings on Saturday against the Yankees as his ERA jumped to 6.88.

Set back all spring by a strained shoulder, Musgrove will finally make his Pirates debut against the Cardinals. He should be free of restrictions after a four-start rehab assignment. Musgrove lost his only career start at PNC Park on Aug. 23, 2016.

This will be the third start of the year for Gant (1-1, 4.67), who has filled in for injured veterans Adam Wainwright and Carlos Martinez. Gant allowed five runs (three earned) over 4 1/3 innings his last time out against the Phillies on Saturday.

Severino will aim to extend a seven-start unbeaten streak as he takes on the Angels, against whom he picked up a no-decision on April 27 in Anaheim. Severino is coming off a victory in Kansas City, where he pitched six innings of three-run ball.

Heaney took the loss last Friday after giving up four unearned runs over six innings against the Rays. He has pitched to a 1.45 ERA over his past five outings. In two career starts against the Yankees, Heaney is 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA.

Rodriguez had an interesting stat line last time out, giving up nine hits but no runs over 5 2/3 innings while throwing 110 pitches. The lefty walked none and struck out seven. In 37 career starts at Fenway, Rodriguez is 10-9 with a 4.64 ERA.

After a pair of scoreless outings to start May, Teheran has given up 10 runs in his last two starts (11 innings), and his ERA jumped, from 3.14 to 4.17. He allowed a season-worst six runs in five innings against the Marlins during his previous start.

Romo started in back-to-back games against the Angels last weekend, throwing 2 1/3 innings in his two starts, with six strikeouts, two walks and no hits among the nine batters he faced. Right-handers are hitting .196 against him this year.

The righty hopes to rebound from a tough outing last Sunday in Boston, where he gave up three home runs over 4 2/3 innings. Hess beat the Rays with a quality start (three earned runs over six innings) in his MLB debut on May 12.

The righty is slated to make his Major League debut with the Orioles. Ramirez, who was acquired from the Yankees in a trade last July, has a 4.33 ERA in 12 starts in Triple-A Norfolk.

Though the lanky lefty has lost three straight starts for the fifth time in his career, he was magnificent last time out, striking out 10 and allowing one run in eight innings against the White Sox.

The 26-year-old has been outstanding his last five starts (4-0, 0.81 ERA with 21 hits allowed in 33 1/3 innings) and is 6-1, 2.04 over his last nine outings. He gave up nine hits and four runs in six innings in a no-decision to the Angels on May 5.

Richards will start against the Mariners on four days’ rest and pitch in place of Shohei Ohtani, who landed on the disabled list with a Grade 2 UCL strain Friday. Richards is 6-4 with a 2.91 ERA in 19 career appearances (11 starts) against Seattle.

Smith has quietly been one of the better rookie starters. Over his last 7 games, Smith is 4-3 with a 3.16 ERA with 38 strikeouts in 37 innings and a WHIP of 1.14. Overall, Smith is averaging 10.8 strikeouts per nine innings and 4.1 walks per nine.

This will be a homecoming for Suarez, who was born in Miami and attended high school (Christopher Columbus) and college (University of Miami) there.

Pivetta has struggled since pitching seven scoreless innings May 21. He has failed to pitch more than five innings in each of his past three starts, posting a 5.79 ERA in that span. Opponents have a .785 OPS against him.

Anderson matched a season-high with seven innings and held the Reds to two runs on five hits in his last start, which was a no-decision.

Cobb is coming off his worst start of the season against Toronto on Sunday when the righty gave up nine earned runs over 3 2/3 innings. The righty has a 7.23 ERA in 11 starts this season.

Chen faces the Orioles, his former team, for the first time. In his last three starts, Chen has allowed 10 earned runs in 10 1/3 innings. He's struggled going deep into games since allowing one run in 7 1/3 innings on May 26 against the Nationals.
    MLB_16_6_2018_2.png
Minor is coming off a six-inning outing against the Astros on Saturday, when he allowed three runs on six hits in a no-decision. He is 1-1 with a 5.82 ERA in his last three starts and has lasted at least six innings in two of those outings.

Freeland has been the Rockies' best pitcher of late. In his last nine starts, he is 6-3 with a 2.93 ERA.
    MLB_16_6_2018_3.png
Newcomb surrendered five earned runs to the Dodgers his last time out, but his line wasn’t necessarily indicative of his outing. He surrendered a couple first-pitch home runs and committed an error that proved costly during a three-run third inning.

Lyles was effective after he was inserted into the rotation last month, but it’s been a grind of late. He’s allowed 11 hits in consecutive starts, and in his outing Monday vs. St. Louis he recorded only three swings and misses on 102 pitches.
    MLB_17_6_2018.png
The 33-year-old is 2-0 with a 2.45 ERA in eight starts since moving into the rotation, with Seattle 6-2 in those games. The soft-tossing lefty hasn’t faced Boston since 2016, and he's 0-0 with a 6.00 ERA in nine innings in two starts vs. the Sox.

The knuckleballer has blanked opponents for 22 2/3 consecutive innings, the longest active streak in the Majors. He shut down the Orioles for 6 2/3 innings in his Monday start, which the Red Sox won in 12 innings. This is his third start this year.

In his last start, Corbin cruised through four innings before running into trouble in the fifth against the Pirates, allowing five runs in 5 2/3 innings. He is 6-2 with a 3.10 ERA and 110 strikeouts.

On Saturday night, Matz went 6 innings and surrendered 3 runs on 5 hits with 6 K's against the Yankees, also allowing his first home runs since May 19 vs. the D-backs. In his 2 career games vs. the D-backs, Matz owns a 5.40 ERA in 10 innings.

Mengden has been rocked for 12 runs in his last 8 2/3 innings. The Astros struck for six runs and eight hits, including two homers, against the right-hander on Tuesday. He allowed seven runs total in six May starts.

Heaney struggled in his last start on Monday, giving up five runs on seven hits -- including three home runs -- over three innings against the Mariners. The 27-year-old left-hander is 2-1 with a 3.79 ERA in three career starts against the A’s.

Keller will make his fourth career start in the finale. He gave up two runs on five hits over 5 1/3 frames Sunday in a loss to the A’s. Keller, who has been on an accelerating pitch count, likely will be allowed to go 95-100 pitches this time out.

McCullers set a career high in wins (eight) by beating the A’s on Tuesday night in Oakland. He has thrown at least six innings in nine of his 14 starts. Of the 35 earned runs he has allowed, 15 have come in two rough starts.
